We have worked very hard on the Cupcake update to add some new features as listed in the previous post. This update had some changes in the core programming of the game so that it will work on Cupcake. Google has changed many things about the way applications are written as well as posting to the market. Being the first update of this new firmware, we weren’t 100% sure on a few things. We attempted to notify people that this is a CUPCAKE ONLY UPDATE. As we all know, most people don’t bother reading the descriptions even though they may contain very important information.
As soon as the update was released, we started receiving 1 star rating after another about a force close problem. This problem happens when someone using an older firmware installs the update. I’m sorry but we warned you about this update!!! Being as it is, we’re trying to find a way to get the game to work on both versions of the firmware. Please bear with us as we’re trying to get this accomplished as quickly as possible.
Please realize that rating 1 stars because of a force close issue on your not following our instructions is not the right way to go about getting us to fix it. When we see someone who likes the game give us 5 stars and says “Love the game, but I’m getting a force close when I ….”, that makes us jump out of our seats to try to figure out what’s wrong. On the other hand, when we get 1 star comments about something like this, we become reluctant since people who are asking for change are ungrateful :-/.
For the time being, the game is offline to those who don’t have Cupcake. If you do have Cupcake, you should be able to find the game by searching for “ForeverFall” or “ODSLabs” in the market app.
